Have a wonderful day!
We want to wish Joanne and Pete all the best for their wedding on Friday 30th Oct. Looks like it will be a lovely, bright, warm day. Who would have guessed it for the end of October. You have been very thorough in your planning, as ever its hard to believe it has all come round so quickly it seems like only yesterday you were buying your dress. Can’t wait to hear all about it, and see pics. Enjoy New York!

When to throw confetti
A bride recently asked us when people throw the confetti. There is no one answer to this as with so many wedding questions. Usually confetti is thrown at the church before the bride and groom get in the car to the reception. However there can be restrictions as to where confetti can be thrown, and often photographers lead the way so that they get a great picture of the moment.
It is a lovely tradition, but it can also be personalised. You could give young attendants bubbles to blow instead, or gather rose petals or buy personalised confetti and put into cones for guests. The tradition of rice is also lovely and simple, often the best way.

Butterfly Weddings
Personalising your wedding is the best way to make sure you have a unique and special day.
Everyone likes the chorus to a song, because this is the catchy bit . The chorus for your wedding is the personal touches, that guests will remember and enjoy.
It should reflect your personalities and the ‘ feel’ you want to create for the day.

'Alice in wonderland' wedding inspiration
Last week, when discussing a wedding with a bride for next year. We talked about the wedding having an ‘Alice in wonderland’ feel.
I love finding an idea that can give inspiration for the personal touches to a wedding. So when i was asked by Helen from thefizz.co.uk, to explore wedding themes this seemed like a perfect choice. Take a look at the feature and let me know what you think.
Alternatively you could go slightly more dramatic, and take inspiration from Tim Burton’s new movie based on the book, out March 2010. Picture below is from new released trailers to the film.
