Wedding Flowers

Posted July 22nd, 2010 by cherishweddings and filed in Uncategorized, wedding flowers

Over the last few weeks, I have met several potential new clients. Most are planning weddings for this time next year.

A small piece of advice with flowers is to take a note of the flowers that are in season now( or at the time of your wedding). Look in gardens, parks, garden centres and florists. This will help you to choose sensibly if you are sticking to a budget.

It also means if you want to grow, and use flowers from your own garden you could.

Wedding Singer

Posted July 12th, 2010 by Zoe and filed in Uncategorized, wedding music

Attended on the day for Steph and Jason, last Saturday. Wonderful garden party wedding!

Steph the money savvy bride, heard a busker 2 weeks ago and asked if he would sing at her wedding.
He was brilliant! He sings Jazz, Lounge, and Swing style songs and had a great presence, not to mention a lovely voice.

I have said before in a previous blog that there is lots of talent out there and buskers are a great way of finding someone special at reasonable price. With the added bonus that you have heard them live and get to chat to them in person.

If your struggling with your budget, give me an email and I will try to help you out with some FREE advice.

Good Luck

Please please please, if you are getting married this weekend take a moment off this week with your fiance. Go for a meal, or picnic tea – a moment to cherish before the wedding. This is a precious and exciting time so savour every moment if you can.

Try to really feel the romance of the occasion. If you are screaming at this and snowed under with ‘to do’ lists, then even more reason to take some time to relax together.

Good Luck to you all, and especially to Steph and Jason. I can’t wait to see it all come together on Saturday.

Give us a call if you need a hand, its amazing what we can do for an hour that might save you half a day. http://cherishweddingplanning.co.uk

New Wedding Venue

Posted July 5th, 2010 by cherishweddings and filed in Uncategorized

This weekend I visited a new wedding venue near Bury St Edmunds, in Cambridgeshire.

About an hour 1/2 out of London is Manor House events.

They are offering exclusive use of The Manor House gardens, including a marquee to seat 240 guests. They are extremely flexible about options and are also very keen to organise the entire event for you.

So if you always dreamt of a traditional country, marquee wedding but thought it was out of your budget then i think you should give them a call.

They will work to your budget (not the other way around ) and are a creative, but highly organised team taking bookings now for 2011.
