In the UK, the weather is always a consideration whether a summer or winter wedding.

I say, plan for all eventualities and then embrace it. Some of my couples most memorable wedding photo’s have been created when the weather took a last minute turn from what was forecast.

Have extra umbrellas, wellies, blankets, flooring, suitable parking, covered walkways and extra heaters. The best way to ensure things all go smoothly though is to ask a wedding planner to step in and make sure that everyone has a comfortable day.

Of course sometimes the weather turns super hot and you will need a planner on hand with the suncream and other options to protect from the sun –
