Toastmaster or not?

Get some recommendations, as often they are very traditional and may not suit the atmosphere of the day.

They should welcome guests, and show them where to go. Keep the event running to time by encouraging guests to take their seats.

One of the best uses is to announce the arrival of the bride and groom and to quieten guests in preparation for the speeches.

A friend with a good voice, a bit of humour and perhaps a microphone works equally well.
